Michigan recently softened its law on Sex Offender Reporting in a very important way that affects many Sex Offender Registrants.  As of July 1st, 2011, those individuals required to register as a result of consensual sex with a victim that is within four years of the registrant's age, or "Romeo and Juliet" registrants, can be removed from the list.
