The IRS struck a blow at medical marijuana dispensaries this past week by declariing that business expenses would not be deductible by dispensaries.  This resulted in a huge tax bill for the California dispensary, Harborside Health Center, whose ordinary business expenses, including payroll, were disallowed.  This extreme position will be litigated by Harborside, who strongly contests the ruling of the IRS.  Read more about the IRS restrictions for Medical Marijuana Dispensaries.
